Check One Check Two: a quick creation guide

Replace the main performer in a short rap scene with your portrait. Learn what the reference template controls, how it differs from a CapCut edit, and what to check before generating.

What is the Check One Check Two AI trend?

The Check One Check Two trend pairs a close-up performer with a night-time crowd and a mic-check opening. “Check 1 Check 2” and “JME rap filter” describe related videos, not one universal effect.

Seedance 2.5 edits the preset performance using your portrait: about 10 seconds, 480p, 1:1. It aims to replace only the main performer while preserving the scene and camera movement. Your downloaded clip includes the original soundtrack.

AI generator or CapCut template?

CapCut templates and this generator are separate products. The MyCapCutEdits listing “Check one check two” displays 11 seconds and 9:16. Its editor determines the required media and charges; those details do not describe check1check2.com.

Use this generator to put your face into its preset performance without writing a prompt. For another TikTok version, identify its template and sound first: matching titles do not guarantee matching footage or audio.

Which soundtrack does the video use?

“Check One, Check Two” is also a release by Luke Dean, Locky and Jme. A similarly named post may use a different recording. Identify a particular version by comparing its sound credits, opening vocal and tempo.

Your downloaded clip uses the template’s original recording, including its existing voice, lyrics and beat. The portrait changes the performer’s appearance, not the singer’s voice. Edited mouth movements can differ from the reference, so check the finished file with sound before posting.

Which person changes, and what stays the same?

Your photo supplies the face, hairstyle and outfit for the performer who approaches from the right around two seconds. The edit aims to retain the opening foreground person and other people, along with the target’s gestures, scene and camera movement.

Your references pass review before editing. The result appears in My videos when ready. Review the face, gestures and background before downloading. Likeness and mouth movements may vary, and changing the face does not guarantee a frame-for-frame match.

Choose a photo that keeps your face clear

Use one sharp, evenly lit portrait showing the face, shoulders and outfit. Keep eyes and mouth visible; avoid sunglasses, heavy filters and motion blur. Crop other people out. The reference video supplies the existing crowd and night-time scene.

Upload JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, using a photo you have permission to transform. For weak likeness, try a clearer, less obstructed portrait. Higher export resolution cannot recover facial detail missing from the source.
